Q. Which sports can Jon work with?
A. Jon has already worked with a range of athletes from fencing to swimming, team sports such as football and lacrosse, Jon is able to work with any athletes and can tailor his skills to fit your sport, individual or team
Q. How do I book a session?
A. You can book an appointment by emailing Jon@jrsportsconsultancy.co.uk or sending a message through the contact page.
Q. What happens if I can't attend a session?
A. We ask that you give at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend a session, the session can then be rearranged. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge for the missed session.
Q. Where is Jon Radcliffe Sports Consultancy based?
A. We are based in the North West of England in the Greater Manchester region
Q. Where will the sessions take place?
A. Consultations are able to take place at mutually agreed locations such as your training venue.
Q. Can Jon attend sporting events?
A.Yes Jon is able to attend your sporting events and this is often encouraged as part of the psychological skills training
Q. Do I have to be at a certain sporting level to access sessions?
A. No, Jon is able to work with any range of ability athletes, from recreational to professional and international.
Q. Can Jon meet me out of the usual 9-5 working day?
A. Yes. Jon is able to meet you at mutually agreed times to coincide with you training and/or preparation schedules.
Q. How many sessions are usually required?
A. Mental training should be viewed in the same way as any other training. That is that it is an ongoing process. At JRSC be believe that we equip you with the skills to allow you to train independently. Mental training is well suited to block of 8 weeks however will vary depending on contact time and individual need analysis. The recommended sessions will be discussed during your initial consultation to allow you to make an informed choice of the options that are best suited your needs.
Q. Does Jon work with injured athletes or athletes who are not currently competing?
A. Yes. Jon does and has experience and success working with athletes returning to competitive sport after severe injury. In addition it is very effective to introduce a mental skills training package within the off season or early during pre-season

A. Yes. Jon has an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check
